Multiple Prizes per Contest

Now, SweeptoKeep has the ability to offer multiple Prizes per Contests.  That means that particular Contests will have multiple selected winners, providing you with even better odds and better chances to win Prizes.  Who can’t love that?

Reward Point Spend/Earn Report

Reward Points are great, but with so many ways to earn Reward Points, we received several emails from members inquiring how to track Reward Points.  

SweeptoKeep has now developed a Spend/Earn Report which explains and displays how you earn and spend your Reward Points. 

To track your Reward Points, Login and go to your ‘profile page.’  Under ‘Current Reward Point Balance’ you will find a blue link that says ‘View Reward Points Spent/Earned Report’.  Click and enjoy.

Contests Open to US, Canada, UK

SweeptoKeep has been growing, and we’ve been growing fast.  With all the exciting news around our launch, people from the United States of America and the United Kingdom were emailing us to inquire about how they could register on our website too. 

Today, we launched SweeptoKeep to US and UK Residents so that you can now register and enter our Contests too – we hope you enjoy!  Contests are targeted to specific Countries and therefore we can still provide you with great odds. 

We hope you enjoy these new features and we cannot wait to hear your feedback.

New Feature Added

REFERRAL PROGRAM -  EARN REWARD POINTS

If you Blog, participate on Forums, and/or use Rafflecopter and LOVE to enter giveaways, then our Referral Program is for you. 

To get started, go to your 'Profile Page' when you Login to SweeptoKeep.com.  Once on your 'Profile Page' on the left hand side, you will see the 'Referral Program'.  On the Referral Program, Click the 'Download Banner' button and link the banner to your Unique Referral Share Link. Once linked, for every person who clicks on the banner you've shared and then Registers on the Website, you will earn 25 Reward Points. You can also do this with your Unique Contest Sharing URL which is found on each Contest page.

Remember, your First Entry into a Contest is free. Earn and then use Reward Points for additional Contest Entries to increase your chances of winning a Prize.

New Features Added

Hello SweeptoKeep Members & Fans,

Thank you for your patience during our first week of launch.  We appreciate all the feedback and comments you sent to us. 

At SweeptoKeep, our mission is to provide people with attractive and trusted contests. We hope to become the largest contest sponsor, hosting tens or hundreds of great contests at one time.  The first entry into a contest is free. Website members can earn and then use reward points for additional contest entries to increase their chances of winning a prize. 

When you informed us about a few issues the website had, we promised to work long hours to ensure that these issues were addressed promptly.  Well, we kept our promise and wanted to thank you for your support.  We hope you enjoy our new features:

Registration Form

The Registration Form has been shortened.  Not only that, but new members can now earn 50 Reward Points just for registering.    Don’t worry… we didn’t forget about our other members… 

You can use this Promotional Code on your profile page to earn 100 Reward Points – SweepsPromo1 - our gift to you for being great.

Other Items We Fixed:  We have also fixed some of the error messages members were receiving when logging into their accounts.  Thanks for letting us know!

Contest Details and Additional Reward Points

Originally, members could earn Reward Points by completing their profiles, completing polls, and inviting friends to register to the website using a unique referral URL.  We are very excited to announce that you can now earn reward points for sharing contests with others. 

Anytime another registered member submits their free entry into a contest from a post you made using our sharing tools (Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest or the unique contest URL), you will earn 10 Reward Points. 

Another fun feature we added is “My Entries.”  Now you can see how many entries you’ve submitted into a particular contest from any contest list on the website.   

Complete Profile Helper

By completing your profile successfully, a registered member can earn 150 Reward Points.  Some members mentioned that they found it confusing to complete their profile.  We listened and came up with a solution….  Now, red boxes will indicate which fields contribute towards completing your profile. 

Please note that photos should be limited to 400k (300 x 300 pixels) for best results.  In our next phase of feature add-ons, we hope to add a photo resizer. 

Feedback Helper

 As mentioned above, we are a new website and with any new technology there are sometimes issues to be worked out.  To ensure that new issues (if any) can be worked on quickly OR if you would like to provide input for additional features, we’ve put a reminder on your profile page to contact us quickly.  By including the feedback from our members, we are confident that we can achieve our mission and visions effectively.

Invite Friends Tool

One of the easiest ways to earn reward points is to invite people you know to register on the website.  By visiting your profile page, you can choose to use the “Invite your Friends” tool. By clicking on the “add from address book” link, you can easily invite your friends from Yahoo!, Gmail, Plaxo, Outlook, Aol, Windows Live, Hotmail and MSN. For every person who registers through your invitation email, you will earn 25 Reward Points.

SweeptoKeep:  A new way for people to avoid contest scams

Toronto, Ontario. Aug. 29, 2012 – Online contests and sweepstakes can be fun and exciting, but there are dangers to watch for.  Scams, identity theft and companies selling your information to others are just some scary examples.

While a majority of contest websites and directories don’t sift through their posted contests to see which are legit, a Toronto resident Ryan Austin founded SweeptoKeep.com, an online contest website that strives to overcome these challenges.  In a recent interview, Ryan said “winning a prize should be enjoyable and contest entrants shouldn’t have to worry about who to trust.”

SweeptoKeep.com offers people the ability to enter trusted contests.  The first entry into a contest is free. Website members can earn and then use reward points for additional contest entries to increase their chances of winning a prize.  The company also provides businesses with affordable contest solutions.

I was fortunate to sit down with Ryan to gain a better understanding of the platform.  Here is how our interview went:

SweeptoKeep hosts several contests at one time.  We hope to become the largest online contest sponsor, hosting tens or hundreds of contests at one time.

To enter a contest, go to SweeptoKeep.com and register for free. As soon as a person registers, he/she becomes a website member.  Once registered, the website member can view our contest list from the profile page or he/she can visit the ‘current contest’ page.  From there, the website member can click the ‘contest description’ button and then submit their free entry by clicking the green button on the ‘contest details’ page.  The first entry into a contest is free. Website members can earn and then use reward points for additional contest entries to increase their chances of winning cool prizes.

So I have three questions: why are SweeptoKeep’s contests trusted and how do you earn reward points? What do reward points do?

Good questions!  SweeptoKeep sponsors every contest it hosts, so website members can trust that if they win, they’ll receive their prize.  Also, we NEVER sell our website member’s personal information.  The whole point of developing this website was to provide people with an enjoyable experience.

To answer your second and third question, SweeptoKeep provides its website members with reward points.  Website members can complete different tasks on the website to earn reward points.  Reward points can be used towards additional contest entries to increase someone’s chance of winning a prize.

Who are SweeptoKeep contests open to?

SweeptoKeep offers its contests to residents of Canada (excluding residents of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their Province or Territory [18/19+ year olds (depending on the Province/Territory they reside in)].

How is the company planning to generate revenue?

The short version is that we host contests for businesses for a fee and in return these businesses get to advertise their brand to our growing network of potential customer contacts.  Our technology is turnkey, so businesses can save money with us rather than handling all the logistics and mechanics of a contest on their own.  By visiting our website and clicking the “run a contest” link on the footer of the website, people can watch our ‘how it works’ video.
